Swine Flu & Unity???

Do you believe that the only thing that can unite people all over the world is pandemic?? From now on you have to start to believe. Currently, the most talked issue is the swine flu. The virus is an influenza A virus, H1N1 that first detected in the Mexico and now spread to the other countries such as US, Canada,Japan ,Hong Kong and of course our own country, Malaysia.

The governments around the world now seems busy in disseminate the information about the virus and take an appropriate action as the precaution. The World Health Organization (WHO) had declared the flu as a public health emergency of international concern”. That could cost trillions of dollars to a world economy that already in worst. Previously, the two global major health scares are; SARS and bird flu that cause so many people died and at the same time harm the economic sectors since the investors are worried with the pandemic.

Apparently, the bright side of the pandemic is, it certainly aware the rest of the people in the world to unite and work together in order to fight this “plague of death”. Every single day, the media whether the electronic or printed, expose the news of this epidemic. There is no time to argue about any other thing because the value of life is much more important.

I do realize that this virus can straight away can harm the people but on the other hand it keeps people together. But still we need to see it as a harmful plague that can destroyed the human nation. Just take it as a good side for a minute, even a bit..think..

Apa itu housemates?kalau diikutkan makna sebenar housemates adalah teman serumah tapi lain pula dengan keadaan di sini. Ok..let me started..

'Housemates' yang saya maksudkan di sini terdiri daripada 3 rumah that consist of rumah A, B dan C.Rumah A (Muni, reen,aten, miera Ganu, syamira and the latest tikah) Rumah B (senol, zahid, arm) dan rumah C (sharirGanu & cobai -nyaris dibuang club).

Actually, kami semua jadi rapat because we related with each other, most of us from the same class and as a whole we are from the same courses. And the weird thing is, zahid and arm bukan geng dulu sb macam takde motif nak tegur but now because diorang pun housemates si senol so apparently diorang pun jadi one of us.Its quite fun laa cause we did a lot of things together.

Its sad actually because we became close dalam 3 minggu yang terakhir ne but seriously we appreciate all the time that we spend together. Teringat pulak time g makan dekat kedai Borhan, zahid ade a bit crush kat si su,hehe..makan2 kat kedai rahmat sambil gosip2 pasal 'vangeance', pastu lepak kat mamak tgk bola, of course laa tgk MU.Study translation same2, si senol tak abes2 dengan 'kegilaan' pastu bila time hafal sume terabur, tapi at the end lepas jugak paper tu dengan jayanya Lagi-lagi kami gi karaoke kt MP, main belasah je nyanyi pastu jalan2 around DP and take pictures together.

Semalam, is the last event besar-besaran yang kami buat bersama-sama; Housemates BBQ.Semua seems enjoy, sampai aku dengan chicken(shikinsenol) berpeluh-peluh kipas ayam, sosej and potatoes sebab aku and chicken is under fire department, and another 2 members are reen and muni.Project manager is Tikah, bising betul mulut cam mak nenek tapi die mmg event leader yang berkaliber,haha.. usaha mereka bangun seawal pagi untuk beli barang kat pasar(yeke pagi?)harus diberi pujian. Bagi aku tiada yang terkurang pun sebab sume best dan seriously puas hati.

Salute to all of you geng "Housemates".

Its all about time, nanti kite jumpe lagi and conduct another event togeher.

seriously, i love this song. once i heard her voice it seem like a magnet that keep on glue me to continue listening to it.Have a bit sore voice like a Norah Jones, but still she have her own originality.Salute to her, another shining star in the making. Looking down from the lyric itself, yaa its totally sad but the way she portray it is very different. It is a sad song but still motivate you to be strong. Enough said, listen and listen.

zaman sekolah,,.

Tiba-tiba aku cam teringat balik situasi sekolah zaman muda aku dulu..seriously, bukan nak berbangga ke ape tapi dulu aku memang seorang pelajar yang agak skema, yang tak pernah ponteng class, tak pernah lawan cikgu, study maintain, sports or other aktiviti aku join je without any excuses tapi tu laa bile difikir balik, kehidupan time tu bagaikan satu rutin yang 'dull', bak kate pepatah 'by hook and by crook' you have to do it.

Tapi ye laa, aku ni jenis yang memerhati, observable, muka blur mcm tapai tapi deep inside aku berfikir. Aku tengok cara cikgu2 aku mengajar, uruskan sekolah and kesimpulaanya most of them macam same dan sekata, takde variety in terms of permikiran dan the way they manage things. Cuma, dua tiga cikgu je yang fleksibel, a bit liberal and think not just by book dan tidak terlalu taksub dengan prosedur.

Another thing is bila time assembly je, benda yang sama yang akan direpeat2 sampai budak2 nak muntah dengar. Selalunya benda yang selalu disebut2 adalah pasal kebersihan kelas dan sekolah, bagaimana untuk menjadi pelajar yang cemerlang dan berakhlak mulia dan peraturan sekolah yang bosan ya rabbi. As a student, kita diwajibkan untuk mendengar dan mengikut segala peraturan ni. No choice, simply as that.

Bagi aku benda yang paling kelakar is the ceramah motivasi sempena nak exam. Aku dah boleh hafal apa yang si penceramah berbayar tu berkata2. Its all the same thing, psycho budak2 dengan cerita sedih dengan mengaitkan parents, pastu masukkan unsur agama and then promote buku motivasi diorang. Its all insane and crap laa. Yang untung lagi kaya adalah mereka2 yang bergelar penceramah yang terhormat ni. Aku sedih bila tengok kawan2 seperjuangan aku menangis2 sepanjang ceramah tapi malangnya insaf hanya sementara, short term je. Buat ape diadakan ceramah tapi kesannya hanya 0%. Personally, aku rase yang motivate diri aku adalah diri aku sendiri tanpa perlu ada ceramah yang melalut2 ni.

Yang buat aku lagi rasa pelik is the way they potray the western culture. Aku rasa sepanjang aku belajar dari sekolah rendah sampai ke peringkat menengah, takde satu pun benda baik pasal budaya barat ni, yang baik hanyalah orang timur yang kononnya terkenal dengan sopan-santun, berakhlak dan bertamadun.Come on laa, statement tu tak relevan langsung.Diorang sedar tak yang barat ni boleh dikatakan satu tamadun yang berjaya, yang bangun dari zaman dark ages dulu and now become the rule of the world. Sebab? Diorang ada satu semangat yang kuat which is focus on the important thing rather than the tiny one, society kite lak sibuk dengan benda2 kecik, benda besar pun tak nampak. Its true yang diorang banyak buat benda yang forbidden tapi kita ambil contoh semangat inkuiri dan bersungguh2 dari diorang untuk ubah diri kita. Open minded, flexible, and think rasional not based on book or procedure yang mengarut.

Lagi satu, aku nak sentuh pasal ustazah dan ustaz yang wajib kita hormat sebab diorang ajar agama. Malangnya, hanya dua tiga je ustaz dan ustazah je yang betul2 dengan peranan mereka, yang lain tersimpang jauh. Diorang ni taksub dengan satu parti yang berlambangkan bulan, so every single thing is about the party itself. Aku naik bosan dengar, pastu diorang buat hukum yang termaktub dalam kitab Islam jadi makin complicated sebab diorang sibuk nak add some spices about pemahaman diorang terhadap hukum tu. Islam is simple and Islam bukan agama paksaan, diorang kene faham tu. Sebagai Islam, kite termaktub dengan hukum2 yang ditentukan oleh-Nya tapi mereka2 ini tak habis2 dengan idealogi karut diorang. Aku rase diorang kene rujuk macam mana arwah Hamka menyampaikan dakwah, bersahaja tetapi berilmu.

when is the moment yang aku boleh aku tengok sistem pendidikan kita berubah, tak ditakuk lama dan keluar dari norma yang asal.Aku nak sangat tengok semua ni comes true. Ini tak bermakna aku tak kenang jasa cikgu2 aku ni,aku hormat diorang dan sanjung segala usaha mereka but some changes must be done.~

Kes pertama HIV/AIDS dikesan pada tahun 1986 dan semenjak itu bilangan kes tersebut boleh dikatakan semakin hari semakin meningkat. Kaum wanita tidak terkecuali menjadi sebahagian daripada kes ini. Aku tergerak hati nak tulis pasal benda ni sebab aku nak kongsi serba sedikit dari pengalaman aku.It started when i completed my SPM. In order to abolish rasa bosan aku, aku terpanggil untuk join satu badan NGO ni. Actually, aku join benda ni atas dasar nak teman kawan aku je. This non-government organization ni also known as Pertubuhan Masyarakat Prihatin (PMP) which is the main objective is to help the single mother that got infected with HIV/AIDS. To tell you the truth, before this aku tak kisah pun dengan benda2 camni sebab bagi aku buat ape nak pikir, lagi pun family aku takde pun yang kene infected but because of my involvement dalam NGO ni, it apparently change my view and perception.

Let me tell you one of my story. One day, me and my other colleague and of course my leader of the team, Abg.Yien and his co-assistant Abg Zul had a mission in Pusat Serenti Bachok. At first, seriously aku rase cam alien je, ye laa, ne kan first time aku masuk pusat serenti and the way diorang pandang pun buat aku seram. Tapi, teguran lembut dari seorang akak pegawai kat situ make me felt much better.First thing yang aku tgk adalah diorang ada sistem sendiri. Ada banyak partition dalam komuniti diorang mcm biro2 laa. Memang teratur and very organize. As usual, satu kumpulan mesti kena ada ketua kan. Dari pemerhatian aku, ketua yang dipilih memang garang gile and they seems can control all the group members kalau diorang macam ganas ke, high ke, ketua2 ni la yang handle.

Next, tibe la saat yang ditunggu2. Ne kire macam sesi suai kenal and luahan hati.Setiap fasi kene duduk dalam group yang ditetapkan. Macam2 aku tau dari sesi ne,ade sorang akak ne cite sal hidup die. According to her, she was a prostitute before, die start keje dari muda lagi, time tu ape yang dia pikir hanya nak sara keluarga je, husband die mmg tak gune, tiap2 ari balik pukul, dera, anak2 pun jd mangsa. Lebih malang lg, husband die ne mmg penagih dadah tegar, and obviously die pun terinfected. Nasib baik anak2 free from it. Bile aku tanye, ape plan bile dah kuar dari pusat ne, die cakap die nak jumpe anak2 and pastu balik semula ke pusat ne and keje kat sini. The reason is die tak nak anak2 die malu sb yang pertama die ne bekas pelacur and sb yang ke-2 die malu dgn orang sekeliling yang suka hina, cemuh disebabkan she infected by AIDS. Aku rase geram and feel its so unfair nak judge orang sampai camtu skali. She become a prostistute with a reason, not just playing around and she got infected because of her bloody husband. She doesn't asked for it.Satu lg story berbunyi begini. Her husband worked as a taxi driver, she is from Kelantan and according to her, her husband selalu pergi belah2 Siam cari perempuan lain and from that he got infected and bile balik he transmitted it towards her pulak. She never know that her husband got infected but one day when she made some medical checkup, cek darah sume, baru la die realised yang husband die laa yang bertanggungjawab transmit this crap. Start dari situ la, org kampung duk mengata, perli, hina bagai sedangkan diorang tak tau yang jadi punca adalah suaminya.

Bile aku teringat balik sume cite2 ne, aku terfikir, when it comes to women, ade je yg tak kene.Bukan aku nk jadi sexism ke ape, tapi itulah yg dapat aku simpulkan. Aids, women and stigma, 3 benda yg berkaitan. Aku secara jujurnya, bukan nak jadi saint ke ape, tapi dengan rasa kemanusiaan bercita2 mahu menolong golongan wanita yg infected ne supaya dapat hak mereka masing2. Aku tak sanggup tgk diorang menderita, nak beli ubat pun tak mampu, nak sara anak lagi sedangkan suami sendiri lari entah ke mana. Bukan setakat tu je, diorang kene mengadap pulak masyarakat yang kadang-kala perangai macam sampah, sorry to say laa, asyik hina diorang je. Come on laa, diorang tak pernah mintak jadi macam ni, jd buka minda and fikir.

Kudos to PMP and others organisasi like PinkTriangle, Malaysian Aids Council yang ade inisiatif nak bela nasib diorang ni. Women especially should have some sort of knowlegde about AIDS, how the treatment and so on. The society also should be taught about this. This kind of stigma should be stop!!! Don' t ever judge people just like that, but help them whenever you can. They need us.Please.. and don't forget the children who got infected, they need our help.

Isu Penggunaan Bahasa Ingggeris Di dalam Matapelajaran Sains dan Matematik..silapkah?

Sebelum aku mengutarakan mengenai isu ini, sempat juga aku membuat sedikt "research" bg isu ini...tengah2 dok selidik bagai, tiba2 aku terbuke one of the blog by Z.A yg secara terang2nya menolak penggunaan bahasa inggeris bagi subjek sains dan matematik.. one of the point yang bg aku most signififcant one is "kita adalah bangsa melayu, mengapa kita perlu memperlekehkan kedudukan bahasa melayu dan mengagungkan bahasa inggeris?"...ya..aku adalah orang Melayu dan aku bangga dengan bahasa melayu tapi aku masih mengaplikasikan bahasa inggeris sebagai medium untuk aku mempelajari sesuatu.. bagi aku itu tidak salah bukan?

Aku kesal kerana masih terdapat golongan fasis bahasa yang secara kerasnya membantah penggunaan bahasa inggeris di dalam kedua-dua matapelajaran ini.Mereka berpendapat bahawa penggunaan bahasa inggeris yang meluas akan menjejaskan kedudukan bahasa melayu, sedarlah wahai fasis bahasa.. bahasa melayu sudah terbukti sebagai bahasa rasmi negara dan dipertuturkan oleh setiap kaum di negara ini, bagi aku kedudukan bahasa melayu tidak pernah tergugat, melainkan DBP yang perlu tetap dengan pendirian kerana dari pemerhatian aku, mereka sentiasa membuat perubahan bagi sesuatu perkataan berulang kali. Begitu banyak perubahan dilakukan sehinggakan ramai yang keliru, bukti dapat dilihat dari perubahan yang dilakukan dalam Kamus Dewan. Bukan tujuan aku mahu memperlekehkan kewibaan DBP tetapi sekadar teguran.

Tidak rugi pun jika generasi muda mengaplikasikan bahasa inggeris kerana kebanyakan buku rujukan datang dari negara Barat, negara Uncle Sam or Europe yang ternyata bahasa pengantarnya ialah English. Institusi pendidikan negara kita mengimport buku rujukan dari negara tersebut so soon or later pelajar-pelajar kita tetap perlu menguasai bahasa inggeris, bagi aku ia bagaikan satu pelaburan, "long term investment"..

Kesimpulannya.. isu ini tidak perlu diperbesarkan kerana penggunaan bahasa inggeris yang meluas tidak membuktikan bahawa kita sudah lari dari jati diri seorang Melayu, Melayu tetap Melayu..Melayu Yang Berfikiran Rasional Bukan Emosional..

act 174..

Basically “akta 174″ is just the same with AUKU (Akta Universiti Kolej Universiti), but it applies only in Uitm.
i'm the one who have an issues with the act 174..
for me this kind of act make the students more weaker as they can't express their
own right..
they have to follow and if they want to fight or object, basically all i can say that
its all totally absurd..
there is no use for you to opposed agains them because at the end of the day, its become nothing..
this act have been amended during Tun Mahathis era, but according to them it already have been change to make it compatible with the recent time but many of us think that the act is not change at all!!!
please.. open your eyes and listen..
we as a students have our own point..
it doesn't mean that all our point is some kind of rubbish..
every thing that happened had it own explanation behind it..
Personally, i think that the act 174 is destroyed the right of the students,
it's not because i'm the one who have busted with this act so i being some kind of bias..
but,, after i make some research towards this and googled up, all i can say is ENOUGH!!!!
u can give the punishment but please be consider and think logically...

i wonder if..

i wonder if that 'day' will never happened..
my life before the accident is totallly complete..
i wonder if i think about the consequences before i stupidly
let it happened..
i wonder if i didn't know that person,then i can avoid this crap thing to happen..
i wonder if i didn't go back at that point of time..
Its to late to wondering anymore, crap happened and
i'm the one who responsible for all this thing..
To the person that i mention above, i honeslty don't feel any regret in knowing you..
its all about fate..
Day by day, my life seems so far away from the track that i build..
i don't know how to adapt with this kind of situation..
i don't how to face the people that i love, the people that expect high on me, the people surrounding me...
its like that i have to start from the begining again.
seriously, i don't have the strenght to fight anymore...
its not easy to be strong, believe me..
all i need now is the faith towards the Mighthy One..
i wonder if i can turning back the time...
